The Toyota Innova Crysta facelift was sent off in India on 24 November, 2020.
This Toyota MUV gets a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment that uses a nine-speaker JBL-sourced music player (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible), a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats. Other highlights are the multi-zone climate control, an electronic parking brake, second-row captain seats, two screens for the second-row occupants, a powered tailgate, and ADAS (Toyota Safety Sense) functions.
The Hycross is powered by two engine options. First is a 2.0-litre petrol mill that makes 173bhp and 209Nm of torque. The second one is a hybrid unit that uses a 2.0-litre petrol engine which produces 184bhp and 188Nm along with an electric motor that pumps out 206Nm. While the standard engine uses a CVT gearbox, the hybrid makes use of an e-CVT transmission.
The Toyota Innova Hycross has not yet been tested for crash safety by the NCAP.
Competing alongside the Hycross are cars such as the Hyundai Alcazar, Kia Carnival, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus, and Tata Safari.
